Richard Hagl

Richard Hagl is a German entrepreneur and founder of Phaenom GmbH, an innovative company specializing in the opportunities provided by digital transformation. His entrepreneurial focus is on newly emerging, digital innovation technologies, including virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and 3D printing and the way they can be applied to new business approaches.

Richard Hagl graduated in Systems Engineering (M.Sc.) from the Munich University of Applied Sciences and also holds degrees in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc.) and Computer Sciences (B.Sc., second major) from the University of Wisconsin, USA. He is author of the book “The 3D Printing Compendium”, a guideline for entrepreneurs, consultants and innovators (Springer Gabler Verlag). Richard Hagl carries out active research in the field of business model innovation.
